The main challenge for organizing a blog is oneself desire to overdoing everything. When one has to many ideas flouting around, it is hard to start writing and nearly impossible choosing the categories in advance. After a few posts the direction of the site becomes clear.
Here is a description of the categories of this site:
News
In this category I will frequently articles about updates of this site and also personal updates. They will be short article between two hundreds an five hundreds words.
Internet
Everything about internet should go in this category. I will post short or long articles about stuff I encounter on internet; by far less frequent that the News category, I expect once per month.
Mac
Everything I use, do or create myself around or with a Mac comes in here. Probably every week a new post should be available, sine I use a Mac everyday; I come across interesting stuff on a daily basis.
Ruby
I love development in general and if I had enough time to do it all I would span categories for LISP, Java, C, C++, 3d programming, neat paradigms, cross-platform development, Linux kernel hacking, Cocoa; just for naming a few.
All topics I came across at one moment or another in my life. For now I start this category about Ruby because it’s my favorite hobby right now, I do everyday.
Hazardous
Sometimes it happens that I have the urge to write something that doesn’t fit in any of the above categories. As I don’t want to trash anything I write I will post it under this category.
